The Dyslexia and Learning Difficulty Center is part of the Child Learning and Enrichment Medical Center. Our aim is to support children and young adults who have Dyslexia and other learning difficulties.
Dyslexia is probably the most common learning difficulty, affecting at least 20% of the population. It is easy to go undetected, thus early identification is essential. Dyslexia is a processing difficulty which often results in problems with:
Dyslexia can vary in degree of severity. It is not curable, but people with Dyslexia can be taught strategies in order to cope with it. That is why early identification and intervention is so important.
The first step is to get your child assessed.
Dyslexia is multifaceted and often presents itself with other learning difficulties namely, dysgraphia, dyscalculia and dyspraxia. The Dyslexia and Learning Difficulty Center can provide support for all of these learning difficulties.
