Bilingual speech therapist working in the field of pediatric speech therapy aiming to empower parents and children with communication disorders and help them be part of a fast-changing world where inclusion of people with special needs is growing day after day. Through a family centered approach to clinical practice, I look forward to tailoring therapy based not only on the needs of the individual child but also the family while taking into consideration the demands of the environment. Mentoring and coaching both parents and professionals is also my passion. I look forward to creating vision and develop strategies and roadmaps to facilitate the inclusion of people with special needs in the community. I also have a special career interest in autism. I am currently completing my PhD degree in the Faculty of Rehabilitation Sciences form the University of Ottawa- Canada. My research looks at the role of parents in rehabilitation decisions for children with communication disorders within the scope of evidence based practice and family centered practice.
