Autism – Social Communication
The world has changed how we communicate; we live mobile lives and there are more ways to communicate than ever before including multiple non-verbal forms of communication like AAC apps, emailing, texting and “sharing”. Technology “evens the bar” with students and adults with autism as it offers opportunities of sharing information that capitalizes on interests and strengths. This workshop will cover all of the current ways to communication and share information to others through speaking, writing, and video use.
