Statistics show that 1 in 3 students struggle reading traditional text and students are expected to produce written language work using technology earlier than ever before, causing a significant gap between their vocabulary and their written language skills. Current trends in technology allow more options than ever before in the areas of reading and writing. No longer the paper and pencil, this workshop will address all of the ways to utilize electronic reading sources and multiple ways to produce written language using common technology tools.
