The tremendous growth in blended and fully online learning has led to a focus on personalized learning for all students, especially students with disabilities. Working at your own pace and determining the needs of an individual based on their specific data has led to a movement to expand online learning opportunities. This presentation will focus on ways we need to consider how appropriate online learning is for our students, design suggestions to ensure what we offer is reasonable and helpful, and ways to further design solutions to foster the online learning experience and thus, further personalize the learning experience for struggling learners.
